Vant & Claringbould- Beechvilla Farm

High up on the North Downs between Canterbury and Folkstone, The Vant and Claringbould family run a family farm producing meat and wool. Run by Jeanette Claringbould age 52 in partnership with her mum Ruth Vant age 77, and with help from the rest of the family when needed. They have farmed together for 27 years with previous generation farming fruit. With the daughters all having attended agricultural college, specialising in sheep, they run a tight ship and lamb around 140 each year from a range of breeds including Romney, Texel and Charollais.
