Keith farms on SSSI conservation area of the North Kent Marshes. As a result they farm with no fertilisers and their sheep graze sustainably on the natural vegetation and fauna of the marshes.
Keith is a first-generation farmer who has been farming for 25 years starting in 1996 and shares the work with his son who manages their suckler cows. Rye Street farm use their Romney flock for conservation grazing with guidance from RSPB which benefits local wildlife and a range of declining species.
